World Citizen Government & the World Service Authority
A Historic Initiative in World Citizenship
For more than seven decades, the World Service Authority (WSA) has promoted the concept of voluntary world citizenship, encouraging individuals to recognise their shared responsibility to humanity and the planet.
Founded on the vision of Garry Davis, the organisation has sought to foster peace, international cooperation, and universal human rights by providing a voluntary framework through which individuals may identify themselves as Citizens of the World.
Today, the World Service Authority continues this work through education, advocacy, and the issuance of World Citizen documentation for eligible applicants.
About the World Citizen Passport
The World Citizen Passport is one of the most recognised documents issued by the World Service Authority. It is intended to express an individual’s voluntary identification as a Citizen of the World and has been issued to people from many countries over several decades.
Applicants should familiarise themselves with the intended purpose of the document and review the guidance provided directly by the World Service Authority before applying.
